We are delighted to have this brilliant expert ceramicist within our collection of artists.  Royal Academy of Arts (RCA) trained and somebody who just explodes with creativity. And we just can't get enough of his work.  We say, add some sculpture into your life and art collection. Mix and match. It creates talking points and interest. It makes you feel good, different and more creatively rounded somehow. This piece would be great in a display, on a shelf, cabinet or mantlepiece. You might have just the right place...

ADAM GRADDON 'BLUE SKULL' Original Ceramic Skull with Blue Glaze & Sgraffito

  • The familiar, the everyday, the things we take for granted. I am drawn to the inherent symbolism, signs, superstitions and heritage of objects that surround us. Working with still life, I aim to create compositions that bring ambiguity to everyday objects.

Various combinations of ceramic versions of these everyday objects are carefully selected and arranged to reveal new values and relationships.

By exploring the nature of three-dimensional collage through the medium of clay, I seek to play on our perception of the mundane through subverting the familiar.

‘Beau comme la rencontre fortuite d’un parapluie et d’une machine a coudre sur une table de dissection’
‘Beautiful as the chance encounter of an umbrella and a sewing machine on a dissecting table'

    Lautréamont, surrealist poet 1846-70
